Leases Signed for J. Alexander’s and Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill
J. Alexander’s Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: JAX) today announced the signing of
leases for two new upscale restaurants including a J. Alexander’s in
King of Prussia, PA and a Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill in Troy, MI.
Both restaurants are currently scheduled to open in 2018.

restaurant collections,” said Lonnie J. Stout, II, President and Chief
Executive Officer of J. Alexander’s Holdings, Inc. “We look forward to
bringing our first J. Alexander’s to Pennsylvania and our first Stoney
River Steakhouse and Grill to Michigan.”
The new J. Alexander’s restaurant will be located at 265 Mall Boulevard
across the street from the King of Prussia Mall. Plans call for the
restaurant to include approximately 9,800 square feet with seating for
more than 220 guests. The latest Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill will
be developed at 101 Big Beaver Road as part of the Columbia Center.
Plans call for the restaurant to include approximately 8,000 square feet
with seating for 208 guests. Approximately 100 full and part time
professionals will be employed to operate each restaurant.
The J. Alexander’s restaurant in King of Prussia is being designed by
Shea Architects, Inc., Minneapolis, MN. The Stoney River Steakhouse and
Grill is being designed by Steven Langford Architects, Inc., Irvine, CA.
Known for its wood-fired cuisine, the J. Alexander’s menu will feature a
wide selection of American classics – hand-cut steaks, prime rib of
beef, fresh seafood and sushi, along with a large assortment of
interesting salads, sandwiches and homemade desserts. The Stoney River
Steakhouse and Grill will offer a high quality menu with emphasis on
hand-cut steaks, fresh seafood, a coffee-cured filet and signature steak
and biscuits served in a sophisticated atmosphere. Both restaurants will
have a culinary team capable of executing a made-from-scratch menu. Both
restaurants also will have a full-service bar with unique cocktails and
an outstanding selection of award-winning wines by the glass and bottle.
