TROY, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--J. Alexander’s Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: JAX) said today it will open a new
Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill on October 29 in Troy, MI at 155 West
Big Beaver Road in the Columbia Center campus.
Lonnie J. Stout II, President and Chief Executive Officer of J.
Alexander’s Holdings, Inc., said the new Stoney River Steakhouse and
Grill has approximately 8,000 square feet with seating for more than 200
guests. Approximately 100 professionals, full and part time, are being
employed and trained to operate the restaurant.
“We are delighted to announce our opening date for this new Stoney River
restaurant,” Stout said. “We believe the Columbia Center campus is an
excellent site for the restaurant and we are looking forward to
providing our guests with the finest quality of classical contemporary
American cuisine.”
Stout said the Stoney River menu will feature a wide selection of high
quality, in-house offerings with emphasis on hand-cut steaks, fresh
seafood, a coffee-cured filet and signature steak and biscuits served in
a sophisticated atmosphere. The restaurant also will have a full-service
bar with unique cocktails and an outstanding selection of award-winning
wines by the glass and bottle.
Clayton Schader has been named general manager of the new Stoney River,
which will be open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily Monday through
Thursday, and from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The
restaurant will open for brunch each Sunday at 10 a.m. and will remain
open until 9 p.m.

In creating an upscale ambiance, Stout said Stoney River will use
European stemware for all wine service, high quality plate ware, roomy
seating packages, furniture grade tabletops, original artwork and a high
level of detail finishes in all areas of the restaurant.
